It lifts what you have. It doesn’t add what you don’t.

If you’ve been burned by shapewear before, it was probably because of a promise like “flat stomach” or a photo shot from a flattering angle. So, plainly: this is not a tummy tuck. There’s no padding in the back, so if you don’t have much there it won’t build you any.

What it does do is compress and smooth from under the bust to mid-thigh, so the line under a fitted dress is even and stays where you put it. That’s the whole product, and it’s worth having.

    The question everyone asks

“But will it look like that on my body?”

Same shorts, same framing, same light, three genuinely different bodies. No retouching, no filter, no change of camera angle.

    Fuller figure

    Fuller figure, soft lower belly

    Slimmer figure

    Slimmer, with stretch marks

    In her fifties

    In her fifties, softer skin

If a shapewear page only shows you one thin model, you already know why.

    The shot nobody films

    The side profile

    Side profile

Straight on is easy. Side on is the truth.

Front-facing photos flatter everyone. The side is where you see what compression actually does to a waistline and where you’d spot padding if there were any. There isn’t.

Under the bust, down to mid-thigh

The waistband sits high enough to have something to hold on to, which is the difference between smoothing and a band that rolls down over your hips by hour two.

    Two design decisions

Shorts, not a bodysuit. Mid-thigh, not briefs.

    🚽

    The bathroom

A bodysuit means half undressing in a cubicle. Shorts pull down. That’s the entire argument.

    💃

    No chafing

Mid-thigh is why people wear these to weddings in summer, not just for the smoothing.

    👜

    No visible line

Flat hems and smooth edges, so nothing prints through a fitted skirt.

    🕐

    Still there at 11pm

The high waistband is what stops the roll-down everyone is actually afraid of.

Why the second colour is Brown

    “Nude” was never your nude

    Brown pair on brown skin

Brown. Not “nude”, not “beige” — brown, because a pale shade is exactly what shows through a light dress on brown skin. That’s the whole reason it’s the second colour in the pack rather than a second black.

    Black pair

Black. For everything dark, and for the days the other pair is in the wash — which is the other reason this is sold in twos.

Sizing — read this before you order

Size by your waist measurement, not your dress size

Shapewear returns are almost always a sizing story. Two minutes with a tape measure now beats a return later.

    SizeWaistHip
    S25–27″35–37″
    M28–30″38–40″
    L31–33″41–43″
    XL34–36″44–46″
    2XL37–40″47–50″
    3XL41–44″51–54″

Two rules that save most returns: measure your natural waist, not where your jeans sit, and if you fall between two sizes, take the larger one. Sizing down does not smooth more — it makes the fabric roll and dig, which is the complaint behind almost every one-star shapewear review. Exchanges are free for 30 days.

    Let's be straight with you

What this is, and what it isn’t

It’s a garment, not a treatment. It smooths a line while you’re wearing it. Take it off and your body is your body — unchanged, and not a problem that needed solving in the first place.

It makes no medical claims. Nothing here treats or helps recovery, diastasis recti, prolapse, back pain or anything post-surgical. If you’re postpartum or recovering from surgery, ask your doctor before wearing compression garments — that’s a genuine safety point, not a formality.

Compression should feel firm, never painful. If it’s hard to breathe, pinches, or leaves marks that don’t fade, the size is wrong. Exchange it rather than persevere.

We won’t beat a $20 pair on price. What you get here is two pairs instead of one, a brown that actually matches brown skin, and a free exchange if the size is off.

Worth saying: a bodysuit smooths the back and bra line in a way shorts can’t. If that’s what your dress needs, buy the bodysuit.

    Questions? We've got answers

    Frequently asked questions

Will it give me a flat stomach?

No, and we’re not going to say it will. It compresses and smooths the line under clothes while you wear it. If you want a photo of a flat stomach, that’s a camera angle, not a garment.

Does it really lift, with no padding?

The rear panel is cut to support and shape rather than to pad. It lifts what’s there and it won’t invent volume — look at the side profile above rather than taking our word for it.

    Will it roll down?

That’s the fear, and it’s why the waistband comes up under the bust rather than sitting on your hips. Roll-down almost always comes from sizing down, so take the larger size if you’re between two.

    What size should I take?

Measure your natural waist and your hips and use the chart above — not your dress size. Between two sizes, take the larger. Exchanges are free for 30 days.

Why is the second colour brown instead of nude?

Because “nude” usually means pale, and a pale short shows through a light dress on brown skin. Brown is the colour that actually disappears for a lot of people, which is why it’s in the pack.

Will it show under a fitted dress?

Flat hems and smooth edges are there so it doesn’t print through. Mid-thigh helps too — a shorter leg creates a line higher up, exactly where a fitted skirt is tightest.

Can I wear it postpartum or after surgery?

Ask your doctor first. Compression garments after birth or surgery are a medical question, not a styling one, and we’re not going to advise you on it.

    How do I wash them?

Cold machine wash in a delicates bag, no fabric softener, air dry. Heat is what kills the elastic in any shaping garment.

    Why two pairs?

Because one is always in the wash, and because black and brown cover different outfits. It’s also where the value sits compared to buying a single pair.

    What’s shipping like?

Orders ship within 24–48 hours with tracking, typically 5–7 business days in the US.
