It arrives as parts. There is no shortcut version and nothing is pre-assembled — you are buying an evening’s work, not a finished ornament. If you want a tree that comes out of the box finished, this is the wrong purchase.
It’s fiddly, and that’s the point. Small beads on fine wire. Most people find that relaxing; some people find it maddening. If threading small things frustrates you, believe yourself.
We’re not going to tell you it’s cheaper than buying the parts separately. We haven’t priced that basket honestly, so we won’t claim it. What it definitely saves you is the sourcing, the minimum pack sizes and the two weeks of waiting on six deliveries.
And it’s a small tree. Finished it stands about 25 cm / 10 inches — a mantelpiece or sideboard ornament, not a floor tree. Judge it by that figure rather than by the word “tree”.

Is everything really included?

Older children manage the threading well and enjoy it. It contains small beads and wire with cut ends, so it needs adult supervision and it is not suitable for children under three.
What if my hands aren’t steady?
Be honest with yourself: the beads are small and the wire is fine. Plenty of people work through it comfortably with a lap tray and good light, but if fine threading frustrates you, it will frustrate you here too.
Can I choose the colours?
The kit comes with its own bead assortment, and the mix of ornament colours you hang is entirely up to you — two people building the same kit end up with noticeably different trees.
Will it look like the photo?
Your first attempt will be a little less even than a practised one — that’s the honest answer, and it’s why we photographed both. It looks best lit from the side or behind rather than in flat daylight.
