It was never a willpower problem

Everything in this category sells discipline. Sit up straight. Do your exercises. Wear the strap for twenty minutes a day. One woman in our research put it plainly:

“I slouch despite having a strong back. I can do nine pull-ups, for context… Didn’t stop me from slouching. Sitting up straight is quite literally uncomfortable and exhausting to me.”

She has the muscles. What she doesn’t have is something reminding her for eight hours straight without her thinking about it. That’s a garment problem, not a character problem.

The thing you'll notice on day one

Someone used a knitting needle to get out of her posture bra

Reaching behind her own back to fasten a bra

That’s a real review of a back-fastening posture bra: “It fastens in the back and I had trouble getting it on… I ended up using a long knitting needle to dislodge it and it still took several minutes and a lot of contortions. If you don’t have a helper, get one that fastens from the front.”

If your hands are stiff in the morning, if your shoulders don’t rotate like they used to, or if you’ve ever put a bra on backwards and spun it round, this is the part of the day that’s actually the problem.

Hooks at the frontFastening the hooks at the front
Arms through like a vest, hooks in front of you, done. You can see what you’re doing.
Stiff hands, still fineOlder hands fastening the front closure
The rows of hooks also let you adjust how firm the band sits, in front, without taking it off.
Look at your shoulders at 6pm

Two thin straps carry the whole weight. Of course they dig in.

Thin strapsRed grooves left by thin bra straps
Two narrow bands concentrating the load in one line. This is what the end of the day looks like.
Three inches wideThe wide strap lying flat on the shoulder
The same weight spread across a strap three fingers across, lying flat instead of cutting in.

This isn’t a trick, it’s surface area. The wider the strap, the lower the pressure on any one bit of skin — which is why every fitter says the same thing about wide straps and full-coverage cups.

    What's actually doing the work

    Three jobs, one garment

    1The wide underband

    The band carries the weight

A deep, stable underband supports from underneath. That’s what replaces an underwire — without it, a wire-free bra doesn’t support, it flattens.

    2The wide panelled back

    The back is a reminder

Broad panels set wide apart apply gentle, constant tension across the shoulder blades. It isn’t a brace and it isn’t rigid — you simply feel it the moment you slump.

    3The front hooks

    The front adjusts

Hooks at the centre front, where your hands already are. Firmer when you want it, looser after lunch.

    Eight hours facing a screen

    Nobody decides to slouch

    Hour sixSlouched at a desk
Head forward, shoulders rolled in. This is what a desk does to everyone by the afternoon.
With the reminderSitting upright at the same desk
Same woman, same desk, same light. Shoulders back, head over the spine.

To be completely clear about what this does: it gives you a physical cue, all day, without an app or a timer. It does not hold you upright for you and it is not a medical brace. The sitting up is still yours.

The question asked under every video

What does it look like under a t-shirt?

Under a thin white t-shirt Under an office blouse

Moulded seamless cups and a flat front closure, so there’s no seam line under a fitted top and no lump where the fastening sits. Nude under white, which is the pairing that actually matters.

At a desk Reaching up in the kitchen Worn Just unpacked
    The one everyone's talking about

The famous posture bra is $189

A celebrity wore one, the internet noticed, and a category that nobody could name two years ago is now something millions of women actively want. That brand did the education for the entire market, and we’re not going to pretend otherwise — it’s a serious product with a serious price.

Here’s the thing people keep saying about it, though: “I just couldn’t justify it. Especially because you have to order it. You can’t try it on in a store.” Two hundred dollars, sight unseen, with a returns policy that inspects what you send back.

This is $39.99, and if it doesn’t fit you send it back within 30 days. We’re not claiming it’s the same garment. We’re claiming most women were never going to spend $189 to find out whether they like a wide strap.

    The bra shown empty
    Sizing, honestly

    “Which size are you wearing?”

We haven’t published a verified size chart yet

It comes in S to 3XL. What we don’t yet have from the maker is the confirmed band and cup range each size covers, and we’re not going to print numbers we haven’t checked — in a category where a lot of women are already in the wrong size, a made-up chart does real harm.

What to do in the meantime

    1. Measure loosely under your bust, snug and level, in inches.
    2. Measure around the fullest part of your bust, without squashing.
    3. Email us both numbers and your usual bra size before you order — we’ll tell you exactly what we know.
    4. Or order, try it on over a thin top, and use the 30-day return if it isn’t right.

If you’re above a D cup, please write to us first. This category has a long history of wire-free bras that stop working at exactly the point where women need them most, and we’d rather have that conversation before you order than after.

    In their own words

What women actually say about this

“If you don’t have a helper, get one that fastens from the front.”
“I slouch despite having a strong back. I can do nine pull-ups, for context.”
“My sister has lost 4 inches in height, is very bent over. I do not want to get that way.”
“When I tighten the straps, the Velcro won’t hold. Amounts to carrying it on my back rather than it doing anything.”

Comments collected from public posture, fitting and bra-review videos during research for this product. Not customer reviews of this bra.

    Let's be straight with you

What this is, and what it isn’t

It is a bra, not a treatment. It will not fix scoliosis, kyphosis, a “dowager’s hump”, a pinched nerve or chronic back pain, and we won’t suggest otherwise. If something hurts, see a doctor or a physiotherapist — a bra is not the answer to a diagnosis.

It gives you a cue, it doesn’t hold you up. The back panels apply gentle tension so you notice when you slump. Wearing it while slouching all day will not straighten anything on its own.

There is no verified size chart on this page yet. Said twice on purpose. Email us before you order if fit matters to you — especially above a D cup.

Wire-free means wire-free. If you want the lifted, separated shape an underwire gives you, this is not that garment. It supports from a wide band underneath and it sits softer and rounder. That’s the trade.

    ECDF30Day guarantee

Put it on tomorrow morning. Look at your shoulders at six.

That’s the whole test, and it takes one day. If the fit is wrong, if the band sits badly, or if it just isn’t for you, send it back within 30 days of delivery for a full refund. Given there’s no verified size chart on this page yet, we’d far rather you ordered and returned it than guessed and kept something that doesn’t fit.

    Questions? We've got answers

    Frequently asked questions

Does it really fasten at the front?

Yes — hooks at the centre front of the underband. You put your arms through the straps like a vest and fasten in front of you where you can see and reach. Nothing goes on behind your back.

    Will it correct my posture?

It gives you a constant physical cue so you notice when you slump, all day, without an app or a timer. It is not a medical brace and it does not hold you upright for you. If you have a diagnosed spinal condition or persistent pain, speak to a doctor or physiotherapist rather than buying a bra.

    What size should I take?

It runs S to 3XL. We haven’t published a verified band-and-cup chart yet and we won’t print one we haven’t checked. Measure under your bust and around the fullest part, email us those numbers with your usual size, and we’ll tell you what we know. Above a D cup, please write first.

Does it work for a fuller bust?

The wide band and full-coverage moulded cups are the right construction for it, and that’s what we can honestly say. This category has a bad record above a D cup, so email us your measurements before ordering rather than taking a chance.

    Is there an underwire?

No. Support comes from the wide, stable underband carrying the bust from underneath. If you specifically want the lift and separation of an underwire, this isn’t that shape.

    Does it show under clothes?

The cups are moulded and seamless and the front closure lies flat, so there’s no seam line under a fitted top and no bump at the front. Nude under white is the pairing worth planning for.

Can I adjust it during the day?

Yes — the front hooks let you change how firm the band sits without taking anything off, which you can’t do with a back closure or with a strap you wear under your clothes.

Can I sleep in it or wear it to the gym?

It’s an all-day everyday bra. It isn’t sold as a high-impact sports bra, so for running or jumping use something built for that.

    How do I wash it?

Hand wash cool or use a laundry bag on a delicate cycle, fasten the hooks before washing so they don’t catch, and dry flat away from direct heat. Don’t tumble dry — heat kills the elastic in the band, which is the part doing the supporting.

How long before I notice anything?

The shoulders are immediate — that’s just strap width. The posture cue you feel the first day; whether it changes your habit is a matter of weeks of wearing it, not one afternoon.

    What’s the return policy?

Unworn and in original condition, within 30 days of delivery, full refund. Try it on over a thin top first if you think you might send it back.

    What’s shipping like?

Orders ship within 24–48 hours with tracking, typically 5–7 business days in the US.

Everyday wire-free support bra. This is a garment, not a medical device. It is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any condition, including scoliosis, kyphosis, hyperkyphosis, disc or nerve problems, or chronic back, neck or shoulder pain, and nothing on this page is medical advice. It provides a postural cue and physical support; it does not hold the wearer upright. If you have a diagnosed spinal or musculoskeletal condition, are recovering from surgery, are pregnant or postpartum, or have persistent pain, consult a doctor or physiotherapist before use. Discontinue use if you experience numbness, tingling, restricted breathing, rubbing or pain, and do not wear it so tight that it restricts movement or circulation. A verified size chart is not yet published for this garment; sizes S–3XL are indicative — contact us with your measurements before ordering if fit is critical, or use the 30-day unworn return. Not a high-impact sports bra. Hand wash cool or use a delicates bag; do not tumble dry or bleach — heat degrades the elastic that provides the support. Colour may differ slightly from the images shown due to screen calibration. Garment shown on a display form and on different women; fit and appearance vary with body shape.
