One device instead of three · ears stay open · 30-day guarantee
Why this existsYou stopped bringing the camera. So you stopped getting the footage.
Two devices to do one ride
Headphones on, action camera mounted, both charged, one of them strapped to your head or your chest. So most days the camera stays home — and the descent, the wildlife, the near miss all happen without a record.
Your ears are already at eye level
The camera sits in the left earpiece. Head-level is the only mount that shows what you actually saw.

The part everyone asks about firstThe footage
This category’s whole credibility problem is shaky, unusable video — one reviewer said of a head camera: “the video shakes so much I get sea sick looking at it.” So here’s what head-level, stabilised and wide actually looks like.

Two things do the work here. Electronic Image Stabilization takes out the step-by-step bounce that makes head-mounted footage unwatchable. 120° wide view means you don’t have to aim — the complaint that kills head cameras is footage “pointing at the sky”, and a wide field forgives where your head happened to be.
Same moment, both sidesYou, and what it recorded
How it worksHook them on. Pair. Tap twice.

Hook them over your ears
The band sits behind your head. Nothing enters the ear canal.

Pair over Bluetooth
Music, podcasts and calls, like any wireless headset.

Tap once, photo. Twice, video.
Without breaking stride and without touching your phone.
Nothing in the ear canalOpen ears, for two different reasons
Because you need to hear the car
Open-ear isn’t a sound preference, it’s a safety decision. Horns, traffic, the person next to you — you hear all of it at once, and you don’t take anything off to answer someone.
Because sealed earbuds hurt
Plenty of people arrive here for a blunter reason: earbuds that plug the canal cause them wax build-up, itching and jaw pain, and some have been told outright by their ENT to stop. This sits in front of the ear, touching nothing inside it.
These are headphones, not a medical device and not a hearing aid. If you have an ear problem, your doctor’s advice comes first.
The four questions, answeredWhat people actually hesitate on
“Will the video be usable?”
That’s the right question — the last product in this category failed publicly on exactly this. EIS plus a 120° field is the answer, and the 30 days exist so you judge your own footage, not ours.
“Can people hear my music?”
At low and normal volume, no — not at conversational distance. Crank it in a quiet office and someone close will catch it. Every open-ear headphone works this way; anyone telling you otherwise is selling.
“How long does it record?”
Music playback runs far longer than video capture — the camera is what drains it. Charge before a long ride and treat it as a clip-catcher, not an all-day dashcam.
“Is it complicated?”
There are more functions here than on normal earbuds, so day one takes a few minutes. After that it’s one tap for a photo, two for video.
Let's be straight with youWhat this is, and what it isn’t
It is not a GoPro. It’s a head-level capture device built into headphones you were going to wear anyway. If you want cinema-grade 4K on a gimbal, buy an action camera — and carry it, mount it and charge it.
It is not a hearing aid, and it won’t amplify anything. It simply leaves your ears uncovered.
The controls take a day. There are more functions on this than on a normal pair of earbuds and the first session is a learning curve. That’s the honest blemish.
What it does do is remove the reason you leave the camera at home: nothing to mount, nothing extra to carry, nothing to charge separately, and your hands stay on the bars.
Why one device winsThree purchases become one
Camera in the earpiece
8MP HD, 120° wide, stabilised. No mount, no harness.
Ears stay open
Traffic, voices, the whole room — and your music on top.
Hook fit that holds
Over the ear, behind the head. It doesn’t bounce and it can’t fall in your cereal.
Phone stays in your pocket
One tap for a photo, two for video, without stopping.
Who it's forThree people who stop looking after this

The rider who wants both
Music and awareness, and the ride recorded — without a helmet mount or a chest strap.

Anyone who can’t block their ears
Workshops, warehouses, on duty. You need to hear the room and still take a call.

Hands genuinely occupied
Climbing, hiking, carrying. The camera is already pointed where you’re looking.

Yes — there’s a cross in our own column. A dedicated action camera beats this on raw video, and we’d rather say so than have you find out.
4.7 / 5 — 3,180 verified reviewsWhat owners actually say
Left the GoPro at home and still came back with the ride.

ENT told me no more earbuds. These sit outside the ear.

Hear the bus AND my podcast. That's the whole thing.

Customer reviews4.7 out of 5, from real rides
No mount, no strap. It's on my head because my headphones are.

Nothing goes in the canal. That alone was worth it.

I hear the traffic and the podcast at the same time.

Took me an evening to learn the taps. Fine after that.

Expected a shaky mess. It's level and wide.

30Day guaranteeRecord with them. Then decide.
Take them on the ride you were going on anyway and watch your own footage. If it isn’t what you expected, send them back within 30 days of delivery for a full refund. That’s the one promise this category has never made.

Questions? We've got answersFrequently asked questions
How good is the video, really?
8MP HD through a 120° wide lens with Electronic Image Stabilization. It is head-level POV footage, not gimbal-mounted cinema — the stabilization is there so the bounce of walking and riding doesn't make it unwatchable. Judge your own clips inside the 30 days.
Do I have to aim it?
That's what the 120° field is for. The classic head-camera complaint is footage pointing at the sky; a wide view forgives where your head was.
Can people hear my music?
At low and normal volume, not at conversational distance. Turn it up in a quiet room and someone beside you will hear something — that's true of every open-ear headphone.
Does anything go inside my ear?
No. The hook goes over your ear and the earpiece sits in front of it. Your ear canal stays completely open, which is why people who can't tolerate sealed earbuds end up here.
Are these a hearing aid?
No. They don't amplify anything — they simply leave your ears uncovered. They're not a medical device.
Will they stay on while running or riding?
The hook goes over the ear and the band sits behind your head, so there's nothing to work loose the way an in-ear bud does.
Is it complicated to use?
Day one takes a few minutes because there are more functions than on normal earbuds. After that: one tap for a photo, two taps for video, and Bluetooth for everything else.
What's in the box and how fast does it ship?
The headset and its charging cable in the ECDF box. Orders ship within 24–48 hours with tracking, typically 5–7 business days in the US.
Audio & CaptureConsumer audio and camera device. Not a hearing aid and not a medical device — it does not amplify sound or treat any hearing condition. Not an action camera substitute: video is 8MP HD through a 120° lens with electronic stabilization, intended for head-level point-of-view clips. Recording time per charge depends on use. You are responsible for how and where you record: film only where recording is permitted, respect the privacy and consent of people around you, and follow the laws that apply in your state or country. Keep your attention on the road — do not operate controls while riding or driving. Reviews reflect individual experiences.
