Strapless · machine washable · 30-day guarantee
If you sleep on your side, this isn’t for you
It has no strap. It stays put because it’s weighted and lying flat — which works beautifully on your back, and doesn’t work at all on your side or your front.
We’d rather say that in the first line than take your order and your return.
The actual problem with sleep masksIt was never the mask. It was the band.
What people complain about
- The velcro seam pressing into the back of your skull
- The strap crossing your ear, or crushing it
- The crease it leaves across your temple by morning
- Tangled hair, and pulling it out when you take it off
- The mask around your neck at 3am
- Velcro that dies in six months, and eye cups sold separately
What there is to complain about here
- No strap
- No elastic
- No velcro
- No plastic slider
- No lump behind your head
- Nothing that can wear out, because there’s no mechanism

How it worksLie back. Lay it on. That’s the instruction.
The weight is the fastening
Instead of pulling tight from behind, it presses down gently from above. The contoured nose cut-out closes the gap where light normally creeps in at the bridge of your nose.
Give it about a week
Honestly: the first night or two feels unfamiliar if you’ve only ever worn a strapped mask. Most people stop noticing it by the end of the first week. Don’t judge it on night one.

The thing the expensive ones can't doIt goes in the washing machine
Something you wear on your face every night for a year gets exactly as grim as you’d expect. The premium masks in this category are famously not machine washable, and their owners say so plainly — “the mask gets gross and stinky, especially crappy because it’s not machine washable.”
This one goes in with the laundry and comes out clean. That’s the whole answer.
Why people keep itFour things it gets right
Actually dark
Wide coverage and a nose cut-out, so light doesn’t leak in under the bridge.
Even, gentle weight
Steady pressure across the brow and eye area instead of tension round your head.
Head size is irrelevant
Nothing to adjust, nothing to fit. Big head, small head, it lays the same.
Washable
Straight in the machine. No hand-washing ritual, no wipe-down.
Who it's actually forThree people nobody in this category speaks to

Sleeping while it’s light out
Night shifts, early finishes, a bedroom that was never dark enough. Daylight round the curtain is the whole problem.

Reclined on a flight
Head back against the rest, nothing pressing between your skull and the seat.

Someone else keeps the light on
Their lamp, their book, their programme. Your side of the bed goes dark anyway.
Let's be straight with youWhat this is, and what it isn’t
Back sleepers only. Said once at the top and worth repeating: turn onto your side and it will slide off. That is a design consequence of having no strap, not a flaw we’re hiding.
It does nothing for noise. There is nothing over your ears. If sound is what wakes you, buy earplugs — this won’t help.
Weight on the eye area doesn’t suit everyone. If you wear contact lenses overnight, have dry eye, glaucoma, cataract lenses or any eye condition, ask your eye doctor before using a weighted mask. Some people simply dislike any pressure there. Take it off if it feels like pressure rather than comfort.
It is not a treatment. It blocks light and rests gently on your face. It doesn’t cure insomnia, sleep apnoea or migraine, and we’re not going to pretend otherwise.

A cross in our own column, and it’s the important one. Side sleeper? A strapped mask genuinely beats this.
4.6 / 5 — 4,270 verified reviewsWhat back sleepers say
No band means no dent across my temple in the morning.

Night shifts. Room is bright at 2pm and I still sleep.

Washed it. That alone beats my last one.

Customer reviews4.6 out of 5
Woke up without a line across my head for the first time in years.

Bedroom faces the street and it's bright at 2pm. This does the job.

My last one couldn't and it got disgusting. That's why I switched.

Felt strange at first and slid once when I rolled. Back sleeper now by habit.

Reclined, head back, nothing digging into the seat behind me.

Questions? We've got answersFrequently asked questions
I sleep on my side. Will it work?
No. It has no strap, so it stays in place by lying flat and being weighted — turn onto your side and it comes off. If you're a side or front sleeper, a strapped contoured mask is the right product for you and we'd rather you bought that.
How does it stay on with no strap?
Its own weight. It lays across the eyes and brow and settles against the face, and the contoured nose cut-out closes the gap at the bridge of the nose where light usually gets in.
Is weight on your eyes safe?
For most people a gently weighted mask is comfortable, but it doesn't suit everyone. If you wear contact lenses overnight, or have dry eye, glaucoma, cataract lenses or any other eye condition, check with your eye doctor first. Take it off if what you feel is pressure or ache rather than comfort — that's your answer, not something to push through.
Can I wash it?
Yes, it's fully machine washable — which is where most premium masks fall down. Wash it on a gentle cycle and let it air dry.
Does it block sound?
No. Nothing goes over your ears. If noise is what wakes you, use earplugs alongside it.
Will it fit my head?
There's nothing to fit. No circumference, no adjuster, no sizing. It lays on your face the same way whatever size your head is, which is the point of having no strap.
Does it press on my cheeks or sinuses?
It sits across the eyes and brow rather than clamping around the face, so there's no strap tension pulling it into your cheekbones. If you're very sensitive around the sinuses, use the 30 days to find out on your own face.
How long does it take to get used to?
About a week. The first night or two can feel unfamiliar if you've only ever used a strapped mask. Almost nobody who keeps it past night seven goes back.
What's shipping like?
Orders ship within 24–48 hours with tracking, typically 5–7 business days in the US.
