Measure your phone with its case on and compare it to the phone pocket dimensions in the specifications. Large Pro Max and Ultra handsets generally fit with a slim case rather than a thick protective one. If yours doesn't fit, send it back inside 30 days.

Yes — that's the whole design. Scrolling, tapping, answering a call and reading all work through the clear panel. Very thick tempered-glass screen protectors can reduce sensitivity, as they do through any film.
Can I take photos with it inside?
Take the phone out for that. The window is over the screen, not the rear camera, so photography is one of the things you'll still pull it out for.
