Wallets
7 cards in one push · zip coin pocket · ID and bills inside · RFID blocking
Your slim wallet has a rubber band in it. That is the part that fails.
Every premium pop-up in this category holds your cards with an elastic strip. It works beautifully for about a year. Then it stretches, and the sentence people write in the review is always the same one: « cards just slide out now ».
There is no replacement strip. There is no fix. You paid a hundred dollars and the wallet quietly became a sleeve.
This one has no strip and no band. The cards sit inside an aluminum chamber and the walls hold them. Push the trigger, seven cards rise in a fan. Push them back, magnets snap it shut.
The complaint every slim wallet getsIt is a wallet. Not a card holder.
Open the flap and there is a slot for your driver’s license, four more card slots, and a compartment for bills folded once — not twice, not rubber-banded to the outside.
That is the whole argument against the metal-plate wallets. They are slim because they gave up on the parts of a wallet you still need, and then they told you that was minimalism.

The short versionThree things, and that is the whole product

What you are replacingSame contents. Half the thickness.
Two things buyers always askLeft-handed, and the shake test
Left-handed. It is the most repeated complaint in this category and almost nobody answers it. The trigger sits on the side edge and you reach it with the thumb of whichever hand is holding the wallet. There is a photo of it in a left hand right here, because you should not have to guess.
« Will the cards fall out? » With a full chamber, no — the walls hold them. With only one or two cards in it, they have more room to move. Keep at least three or four in there. We would rather tell you that than have you find out.
The option most people addThe tracker card
A card as thin as a credit card that slides into the zip pocket. It shows up on your phone’s map, so the morning you cannot find your wallet takes thirty seconds instead of an hour.
Twenty dollars more with the wallet, against twenty-nine on its own.
Being precise about it: the maker states it works with Apple’s Find My network, and quotes a five-month battery and a 95 dB alarm. We have asked for the certification and the Android answer in writing. Until those land we are repeating the maker’s claim, not confirming it — buy the wallet for the wallet.

SpecificationsThe numbers
On RFID, honestly. Half the internet says contactless skimming is a real risk and the other half says it is marketing. We are not going to settle that argument to sell you a wallet. The chamber is aluminum, aluminum blocks the signal, and that is a side effect of the design rather than the reason to buy it. Buy it for the pop-up and for the fact that your license and your twenty fit inside.
Let's be straight with youWhat we know, and what the maker has not answered
Confirmed

- 7 cards in the chamber, 4 in the flap, plus bills and coins
- Full-length zip pocket on the front face
- Magnetic closure
- 10 × 7 × 2 cm closed
- Three finishes; tracker card fits the zip pocket
Not confirmed — so not claimed
- Whether the leather is genuine or coated
- Whether the leather is stitched or glued to the chamber
- Trigger material and rated cycles
- Behaviour with embossed or metal cards
- Warranty length and who pays return shipping
- Tracker card certification, battery and Android support
The leather question matters more than the rest. Buyers in this category find out after the fact that a listing said one thing and the material was another, and that is the review that sinks a product. We do not have it in writing yet, so we are not printing « genuine leather » anywhere on this page. If that decides your order, message us and wait for the answer — we will send it to you either way.
And on glue. The failure that kills the cheap end of this category is the leather peeling away from the chamber because it was glued rather than stitched. We have asked. Same rule: no answer, no claim.

Three crosses in our own column. It has a moving part, so it can fail; it will not swallow a year of receipts; and it wants at least three or four cards in the chamber to hold them properly. If you carry fifteen cards and a wad of paper, buy a bifold — you will be happier.

Third slim wallet in four years. First one where nothing stretches.
Bought it for my husband. He has shown it to eight people.

License in the flap, twenty in the back, change in the zip. Done.

Customer reviews4.7 out of 5
My last one was an Ekster and the strip gave up at fourteen months. This holds the cards with metal walls. Different problem entirely.

Anniversary gift. He is fussy about wallets and this one has not left his front pocket.

Every slim wallet I tried made me carry my DL loose in another pocket. This has a slot for it.

Great wallet, feels good, mechanism is smooth. But I want to know exactly what the leather is and nobody will tell me.

With two cards they shift around. With four or more it is solid. Not a fault, just something to know.

30Day guaranteeCarry it for a month. Then decide.
Move everything over on day one — cards, license, cash, change. Live with it. If it has not replaced the one in your pocket, send it back within 30 days of delivery for a full refund.

Questions? We've got answersFrequently asked questions
Will the cards fall out?
With a full chamber, no — the aluminum walls hold them, and there is no elastic to stretch. With only one or two cards in it, they have room to move. Keep three or four in there minimum. That is the honest answer to the most-asked question in this category.
Is the leather genuine?
We do not have it in writing from the maker yet, so we are not claiming it. It is a leather exterior over an aluminum chamber; whether that is full-grain, split or coated is exactly what we have asked for. Message us before you order if it decides your purchase.
Where does my driver's license go?
In the inner flap, in its own slot, alongside four more cards and the bill compartment. That is the whole reason this exists rather than being another card holder.
How many cards, really?
Seven in the pop-up chamber and four in the flap, so eleven, plus bills and coins. Embossed cards take more room than flat ones — we do not have the maker's figure for embossed capacity.
Does it work if I am left-handed?
Yes. The trigger is on the side edge and you reach it with the thumb of whichever hand holds the wallet. There is a photo of it in a left hand on this page, which is more than most listings in this category will give you.
Can I fit cash without folding it twice?
Yes. The bill compartment takes US bills folded once. Folding twice is what makes the metal-plate wallets annoying.
What about coins?
Full-length zip pocket on the front face. It is genuinely the thing that separates this from almost every other pop-up wallet.
Will the mechanism break?
It is a moving part, so it can. What breaks in this category is usually a plastic trigger or a stretched elastic — there is no elastic here. We do not have a rated cycle count from the maker, so we are not printing one, and we are not going to promise you a lifetime.
Does it block RFID?
The aluminum chamber blocks contactless reads of the cards inside it. Cards in the outer flap are not in the chamber. Whether skimming is a real threat is an argument we are staying out of — treat it as a side effect of the design, not the reason to buy.
Will the magnets damage my cards?
No. Modern payment cards use chips and the magnetic stripe is not affected by closure magnets of this strength.
What is the tracker card exactly?
A credit-card-thin tracker that slides into the zip pocket, $20 more with the wallet. The maker states it works with Apple's Find My network, with a five-month battery and a 95 dB alarm. We have asked for the certification and the Android answer in writing and we will publish it here.
Does it hold metal cards?
Not confirmed. Metal cards are thicker and stiffer than plastic ones, and this is a known failure point across the whole category. Ask us before you order if you carry one.
Shipping and returns?
Free tracked US shipping, dispatched within 24–48 hours, typically 5–7 business days. Full refund within 30 days of delivery.
WalletsMaterials and construction. The exterior is a leather finish over an aluminum card chamber. Whether the leather is genuine, split or coated, and whether it is stitched or bonded to the chamber, are not confirmed by the manufacturer and are therefore not claimed anywhere on this page; contact us before purchase if either decides your order. Trigger material, rated actuation cycles, embossed-card and metal-card capacity, and warranty terms are likewise not confirmed and not claimed. Card retention. The chamber holds cards by its walls; retention is reduced when fewer than three cards are loaded. RFID. The aluminum chamber attenuates contactless reads of cards held inside it; cards carried in the outer flap or zip pocket are not shielded. No claim is made as to the likelihood of contactless skimming occurring, and this product is not a security device. Tracker card (optional).
